Apr 27 to Apr 28

Time:

8:00 am to 5:30 pm

Join with advocates from across California to learn, connect, strategize, and win change.

California, the birthplace of America’s car culture, can embrace a different future: one where all residents can live in wonderful places with safe, abundant options besides a car to get where they need to go.

You can be part of the change!  Come to our annual California Transportation Choices Summit and:

  • Gain skills, knowledge, and resources to make your community safer, healthier, more fair, and more connected
  • Join a statewide network advocating for real transportation choices for all Californians that also save money, create jobs, improve health and safety, and protect our environment.

Summit and Advocacy Day 2015: Year of Action

Register now for the 4th annual California Transportation Choices Summit and Advocacy Day on April 26-28, 2015 in Sacramento. At the 2015 Summit, “Year of Action”, we will build on past successes, highlight innovative strategies, and energize California’s leaders to continue to push for a greener, more equitable California.

The Summit brings together advocates and leaders from across the state from every issue area: public health, bicycle and pedestrian, social justice, affordable housing, disability rights, labor, transit and more.  Policy leaders and expert panels present on a range of topics, plus attendees break into groups based on geography and issue areas to discuss strategy.

Check out the this great list of advocates and leaders who will be at the Summit. Whether you’re new to these issues or a longtime advocate, the Summit and Advocacy Day is the place to learn, connect, strategize, and win change!

April 27 – Transportation Choices Summit 2015

Meet activists from around the state and hear from our keynote speaker, the inspiring Manuel Pastor, and other advocacy and agency leaders as they describe the latest opportunities and challenges in building powerful networks for a greener, more equitable California.

Afterwards, attend and participate in breakout sessions covering a variety of topics:

  • Ways to strengthen the State’s goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and investing in our communities and green economy;
  • Creating Accessible Communities through Transportation;
  • Dramatically increasing funds for bicycle and pedestrian projects and programs;
  • Honing our advocacy message

… and more!  Click here to see the final program and agenda.

OPTIONAL: April 26 - Mobile Tours

Join us for a local tour of Sacramento's transportation system! Tour the historic Capitol Building, visit the train museum, or walk and roll through the streets.
