A great day to bicycle!

Today is a great day for car-free living and cycling in Santa Rosa.  Stage two of the Tour of California http://www.amgentourofcalifornia.com/Route/stages/stage2.html finishes in downtown Santa Rosa this afternoon about two blocks from my office.  As I approached my office on my bicycle this morning, I was greeted by sights of bustling activity in downtown Santa Rosa as tents and other displays are being set up for the festival later today.  It's so inspiring to see the excitement building here for the tour and the promotion of bicycling as a fun thing to do.  Our spirits are high in spite of the forecast for rain this afternoon!
