Oh, the things you learn when not driving
So, I was biking home yesterday, happy as a clam, and low and behold, I pass by a farmer's market I did not know existed. I should note that I am a farmer's market addict. When I drive home, I don't pass by this street at all, and would never have seen it. Even if I did pass by, I probably would not have turned around and gone back to check it out, because turning around in a car is so much more of a hassle, and then I'd have to find parking and that's a pain.
But on a bike, I pulled a U turn in a snap and didn't have to worry about parking - I just hopped off my bike and walked on through. This made me realize how being in a car can make us ignorant (I would have never found that farmer's market) and also lazy (if I had seen it, I probably would not have turned around and checked it out).

Yay for random discoveries,
Yay for random discoveries, and being able to quickly stop and check it out without having to stress about parking! This post perfectly sums up the "drive less, live more" mentality.
I love this post, Leila!
