Liability Disclaimer For TransForm's Car-Free Challenge

Legal Release:

By participating in the TransForm Car-Free Challenge, the participating individual, group, organization, business, spectator, or other participant ("Participant"), hereby releases and forever discharges TransForm and its officers, board, employees, contractors, licensees and sponsors ("Released Parties"), jointly and severally, from any losses that may arise from any injuries, claims, actions, demands, or liabilities incurred by the Participant in connection with any participation in or connection to the TransForm Car-Free Challenge.

This release extends and applies to all unknown, unforeseen, unanticipated and unsuspected injuries, damages, losses and liabilities and the consequences thereof, as well as any now disclosed and known to exist.  The provisions of any state, federal, local or territorial law which provides that releases shall not extend to claims, demands, injuries, or damages which are not known or suspected to exist at this time are hereby expressly waived.  Participant understands that TransForm is not providing liability insurance for the protection of the Participant in the TransForm Car-Free Challenge.

Participant agrees on behalf of its heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, to indemnify the Released Parties, joint and severally, against any and all claims by any third party arising from Participant's participation in or connection to the TransForm Car-Free challenge.

It is further understood and agreed that participation in the TransForm Car-Free Challenge is not to be construed as an admission by the Released Parties of any liability or acceptance or assumption of any responsibility for any claims, demands, injuries, or damages resulting from Participant's participation in or connection to the TransForm Car-Free Challenge. Participant understands that there are certain risks involved with any form of transportation, and that the Released Parties did not create any additional risk, or make any claim of safety, in connection with any form of transportation.

Photo & web content release (check box):

I release to TransForm the use of video, weblog (blog) and limited (first name and city of residence) profile content that I may generate during the Car-Free Challenge for purposes related to forwarding their non-profit mission. I authorize TransForm, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically.

I agree that TransForm may use such photographs, video, weblog (blog), and limited profile content of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, such as publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content.
