Building a Transportation Measure for the Bay Area in 2020

Aug 26

Time:

1:00 pm

TransFormUrban Habitat,  and Silicon Valley Community Foundation are hosting campaign advocates and leaders from Los Angeles and Seattle to share the successful transportation funding campaigns they led in their cities. Join us to hear first-hand the challenges they faced and what made these campaigns a success. Our program will include a panel conversation, followed by small group discussions on how we can work together to apply these lessons to develop and pass a regional transportation mega measure in the Bay Area as early as November 2020.

Speakers include Seattle's Deputy Mayor Shefali Ranganathan (formerly of the Transportation Choices Coalition, Seattle) and Gloria Ohland, Director of Policy and Communications at Move LA, among others.
