This online town hall offers the public another opportunity to ask questions about BART’s proposed budget, which is currently being developed for adoption at the June 11th Board of Directors meeting. The proposed $1.6 billion budget prioritizes efforts to increase passenger capacity, improve on-time performance and station cleanliness, and to address concerns raised by customers in the latest customer satisfaction survey.
How it works
You can email your budget questions to BetterBART@bart.gov. Starting at 9am on Wednesday June 3rd you can tweet your question by tagging @SFBART. BART will also monitor the feed during the event for those with questions once the town hall starts. The town hall will be held from Noon-1pm on Wednesday June 3rd. Watch it live at www.bart.gov/townhall. To watch the meeting, make sure you have Microsoft Silverlight downloaded on your computer. Google Chrome is not compatible with Microsoft Silverlight so you must use another browser to watch the event. An archive video will be available at the same location immediately following the event for those who couldn’t watch it live.
