May 14

Time:

6:30 pm

On May 14, Acterra will welcome to its Public Lecture Series Annie Notthoff, longtime environmental champion and Director of Advocacy for the state of California with the Natural Resources Defense Council. Ms. Notthoff will be joined by Max Baumhefner, Senior Attorney with NRDC's Climate and Clean Energy Program for an evening of conversation on "Climate leadership and the future of transportation in California."

Ms. Notthoff's accomplishments have helped set California firmly on a trajectory of climate protection through significant legislative campaigns including the first economy-wide cap on greenhouse gas emissions, clean fuels for power plants, renewable portfolio standards, and, in 2014, an expansion of clean transportation options and enhanced social equity via the "Charge Ahead" bill (SB 1275). In 2015, Ms. Notthoff received a prestigious California League of Conservation Voters Northern California Environmental Leadership Award.
