I am calling to express my strong support for the Partnership for Sustainable Communities.  I urge continued funding for this important program that stretches federal dollars and improves communities like mine.

Why This is Urgent

Two years ago, a dream came true when the nation’s housing, transportation, and environmental agencies formally united under the Partnership for Sustainable Communities.

Finally, housing, transportation, and sustainability are being planned for together like they should be!  Plans, policies, and funding are now coordinated and leveraged to bring good public transportation and affordable housing to more places – in fast and cost-effective ways.

But the U.S. House of Representatives voted to eliminate all funding for the Partnership.  The Senate has voted to save it, but as the debate between the House and Senate continues, the Partnership looks increasingly at risk.  This will be decided within a week!

Last year when the Partnership was under threat, activists like you made a real difference and funding was ultimately saved.  We can do this again!  If you make one call, have it be to your Representative.
