I'm inspired to take the challenge again this year for three reasons:
  • because I had so much fun last year,
  • because I've fallen back into some bad driving habits and need something to motivate me to stay out of my car, and
  • because I'm horrified by the disastrous oil spill in the gulf and want to show our policy makers that we can drive less and eliminate the need to drill any more oil wells on or offshore.
    • I will strive to reach my goal by reminding myself how much fun and freeing it is to get around without a car.
