Roger Miller collaborates with the TransForm fundraising, communications and program staff to craft foundation strategies and proposals, implement major donor and membership engagement campaigns and special events and expand our corporate sponsorship program. Roger enjoys putting the FUN in fundraising and looks forward to talking to anyone and everyone about the amazing work that the TransForm team does.
Before joining the TransForm team, Roger was the Executive Director of the Mind Body Awareness Project, Development Director at As You Sow, General Manager of visitor services at the Yosemite Conservancy and Co-Executive Director with Bay Area Wilderness Training. He also previously worked in fund development at Rainforest Action Network, Redefining Progress, the San Francisco Day School and as a political campaign consultant with Next Generation. He also helped to launch a bicycle and pedestrian advocacy organization called Walk Oakland Bike Oakland.
Roger grew up in suburban Chicago, although started calling the Bay Area "home" 20 years ago. He loves exploring our rich urban and natural spaces via running, biking, hiking and kayaking. He holds a Masters of Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco and wrote his thesis on collaborative leadership between nonprofit environmental advocacy organizations.
