Stephanie is the Site Coordinator for Alameda County’s Safe Routes to School program at TransForm. Her work is focused on elementary schools in Hayward, San Lorenzo, San Leandro and Pleasanton.

Stephanie has always been passionate about building healthier and more active communities. She is most interested in making sure that healthy choices are appealing and, most importantly, accessible to all. Prior to joining TransForm, Stephanie worked with the Injury Prevention Program at the City of Berkeley where she helped to coordinate activities that promoted physical activity.

Stephanie was raised primarily in the Central Valley, but has lived in the East Bay for over 10 years. She appreciates and is proud of the bike culture, beautiful weather, and connected streets of the East Bay and rides her bike all over the area, including her daily commute.

Stephanie holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from San Francisco State University. Her focus in school was around incorporating community voices to help create built environments that support community interests.
