As the Deputy Director of Organizational Development and a member of the Executive Team, Jo Ann oversees the Operations and Human Resource functions at TransForm. Jo Ann uses a strength-based coaching approach to lead the creation of systems and processes that expand shared leadership across job functions and supports individual and team development through effective communication and skill building.
Jo Ann leads TransForm's staff Equity & Inclusion Committee and board Social Justice Task Group where she facilitates the development of collaborative, equitable, and inclusive processes to strengthen the organizational culture at TransForm.
Jo Ann has over sixteen years of experience in human resources and operations work. Prior to TransForm, Jo Ann was the Chief Operating Officer at management consulting firm LFA Group: Learning for Action where she led the Operations Department in scaling internal systems in support of the organization's work in research, evaluation, and strategic planning for nonprofits, government agencies, and foundations.
Jo Ann is also the Founder of Nesting Tree Healing where she practices Integral Life Coaching. Jo Ann assists her clients in cultivating self-awareness to develop skills in making transformational life changes.
Jo Ann is pursuing her doctorate in Human Development with a concentration in Inclusive Social Justice Leadership at Fielding Graduate University.
