Jo Ann Prompongsatorn Farrant
Deputy Director of Organizational Development
Starting in April 2019, Jo Ann Prompongsatorn Farrant will share the role of Interim Executive Director of TransForm with Ann Cheng. Jo Ann joined TransForm in 2013 and has been a member of TransForm’s Executive Team since 2016. She brings eighteen years of expertise in operations, organizational development, finance, and human resources. Jo Ann helps lead TransForm's Social Justice Committee.
Integrating her studies in inclusive leadership for social justice, Jo Ann engages the staff and board in investigating the complex ways power and injustice manifest in organizations. She uses a strength-based coaching approach to support individual staff development while cultivating shared leadership at an organizational level embedding equity, diversity, and inclusion as core priorities.
Prior to TransForm, Jo Ann was the Chief Operating Officer at Learning for Action, a consulting firm. She is a graduate and apprentice teacher of Practice in Transformative Action at the East Bay Meditation Center. Jo Ann is pursuing her doctorate in Human Development at Fielding Graduate University, is a graduate of Rockwood Leadership Institute’s Art of Leadership, and has presented on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace to CompassPoint’s HR Network.
