Car-Free Triple Threat

The second annual Bay Area Triple Threat bike challenge will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011. Using only public transportation and their bicycles, riders will ride to the summits of the three major peaks in the Bay Area: Mount Hamilton, Mount Diablo, and Mount Tamalpais. All in one day! If not up to the task of three peaks, riders can opt for the Single Summit (Mount Diablo only) or the Double Dip (Mount Diablo and Mount Tamalpais).

TransForm is partnering on this event as part of our Car-Free events (our full Car-Free Challenge is on hiatus this year, but we're continue to work to inspire more people to leave their car behind and share the need for better options for walking, biking and public transportation).

Want to volunteer for the ride rather than actually ride?  We need your help!

We will need folks the day of at the check points which will be at SF Ferry Terminal, Walnut Creek or Pleasant Hill and then down at the base of Mt. Hamilton. Contact Jessica if you can help.
