Join one of the most important conversations about San Mateo’s future. Your feedback will help identify what areas of the City should be evaluated for change, preservation and improvements.
During two workshops (June 8 and 10), community members will learn about the City’s General Plan Update, and hear about housing, demographic and transportation data that is informing this multi-year process. Participants will also use a map of San Mateo to help identify what areas of the City could accommodate future growth or stay the same.
Come show us where in San Mateo you think we could accommodate new housing, jobs, services or commercial space. What areas would you like to see stay the same or have historic value? Where should we focus on preserving open space? Are there places you think need transportation improvements to help you get around?
Your input will help inform what areas will undergo a more robust analysis on the impacts of possible changes in the future.
