Housing California 2013 Annual Conference (Sacramento)

The Housing California 2013 Annual Conference offers opportunities to learn from your peers and colleagues, network with old friends and make some new ones, and help Housing California continue working to prevent homelessness and increase the variety and supply of safe, stable, accessible, and permanently affordable places to live.

TransForm’s own Ann Cheng will present on the success of GreenTRIP in a discussion led by Linda Wheaton, of the CA Housing and Community Development with presentations from LA Metro, First Community Housing and more.  Truly affordable housing doesn’t involve paying hundreds of dollars a month at the gas pump – yet working families can spend more than a third of their income on transportation.  This session on Thursday, April 18 from 1:45 - 3:15 p.m. will offer a discussion on promising strategies to create great affordable homes with less parking and free transit passes.
