The region’s largest gathering of active transportation leaders and organizers from government, the private sector, non-profits, and the general public.
Two strong leaders are opening each day of the summit.
Session topics this year range from a discussion on slow streets in different cities to equity in active transportation and Safe Routes to School. Given the virtual nature of the conference this year, Bike Summit will also feature speakers from outside the Bay Area. Other activities include a virtual bike tour of Palo Alto, a poster session featuring innovative ideas around bike issues, the Bike Summit awards for Person, Program, and Project of the year, and a virtual happy hour for folks to mingle with each other. The event is also focused around community building. Attendees can network with speakers and each other during breaks and over lunch.
