Joy is the Program Manager for the EV Car Sharing and Mobility Hubs in Affordable Housing Pilot Project. This project will provide battery-electric vehicles and charging stations, along with a host of alternate mobility options and rideshare solutions, at three affordable housing sites throughout the Bay Area.
Previous to her work at TransForm, Joy managed the development, implementation, and evaluation of public health tech-based programs in North Carolina. More so, Joy has consulted on public health planning projects for nonprofits, community-based organizations and state-level agencies. Joy is passionate about leveraging her public health skill-set to foster community empowerment and meet the transportation needs of low-income communities.
As a Bay Area native, Joy enjoys frequent trips to Farmers Markets, Berkeley Bowl, and random outdoor expeditions around the Bay. She loves cooking, exploring cafes, people-watching, and spending time with family and friends. Joy holds a Masters in Public Health from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health at Chapel Hill and a B.A. from UC Berkeley.
