Safe Routes to Schools Site Coordinator
Nora Dye is a Safe Routes to Schools Site Coordinator serving Oakland, Alameda, and Hayward. She has a Masters degree in Political Engagement from New York University, and she is dedicated to building political power and engagement in marginalized communities.
In addition to her work with the Safe Routes to Schools program, she organizes adventure learning bike tours exploring environmental and social justice for high school students through the California Field School. Previously, she was involved as a Board Member and Staff Collective Member at Cycles of Change, an organization dedicated to connecting young people with the natural world through bike education and outdoor adventures.
